Bloom's Taxonomy and Technology


Benjamin Bloom wrote concerning the cognitive abilities of the human mind. It was 8 years after he wrote the book, the American Psychology Association published the book in 1956.According to his thought and research cognition has six levels of complexity. The highest being three domains consist of Cognitive-knowledge, Affective-attitudinal, and psychomotor-skills. There were classified as analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. The lowest three domain were knowledge, comprehension, and application. In 1990 these domains were revised as remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating.
